How much does a custom painting or statue cost?
It depends mainly on size. On our Custom Order page you can pick a size and get an instant starting estimate for a painting/canvas or a statue made from your photo. The final price is confirmed once we see the photo and talk through details like complexity and material.
How do I order a custom painting or statue from a photo?
Send us your photo along with the size you'd like through the Custom Order form, WhatsApp, or by visiting the studio. We'll confirm the price and timeline with you directly, since every piece is made by hand.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. Custom work requires a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance due when your piece is ready for pickup or delivery. This covers materials and secures your place in the work queue.
How long does a custom order take?
It varies by size and how busy the studio is. As a rough guide, paintings usually take about 1 to 3 weeks and statues about 2 to 5 weeks. Larger or more detailed pieces naturally take longer. We'll give you an honest, specific timeframe when you place your order, and let you know right away if a deadline you have in mind isn't realistic.
Can you make a painting or statue from any photo?
In most cases, yes. A clear, well-lit photo gives the best result. Very blurry, very dark, or very low-resolution photos can limit how much detail we're able to capture. Send us your photo before ordering and we'll tell you honestly whether it will work well - we'd rather say so upfront than after you've paid a deposit.
Can you include more than one person, or a pet?
Yes - paintings and statues can include multiple people, a family, or a pet. This can affect the price and timeline depending on complexity, so mention it when you request your estimate and we'll confirm the details.
Can I ask for changes while my piece is being made?
Usually yes. For most custom orders we'll share a progress photo before the piece is finished, so you can flag anything early. Reasonable adjustments at that stage are part of the process - just talk to us.
What if I'm not happy with the final piece?
Every piece is handmade specifically for you, so the deposit secures materials and our time once work begins. That said, we want you to be happy with what you receive - we'll work with you on reasonable concerns, and sharing a progress photo beforehand helps catch most issues early. If anything is unclear before you order, ask us first.
Can I buy a piece that's already in the gallery?
Yes - anything marked "Available" in our gallery can be purchased directly. Mention the catalog number (like HB-PT-0004) when you call or message us so we know exactly which piece you mean.
Do you ship, or is pickup only?
Please contact us directly to arrange delivery or pickup - this can depend on the size of the piece and your location.
How can I pay?
We accept cash in person at the studio. For deposits and other situations, message or call us and we'll confirm the easiest option for you.
